Houseguest is a populist rock band from Akron, Ohio. Their five unique personalities form an ensemble reminiscent of one of those bullshit early-90s movies about twentysomethings where they all talk like they have Ivy League educations and they sit around all day and don't work and drink coffee and discuss politics, but they're also, like, really into Mudhoney and shit. Kind of intolerable humans. They're actually pretty funny when they're drunk, though. They like to take their clothes off. Houseguest has a lovely album on Audio Eagle called High Strangeness, and will be releasing another in the Fall of 2008 called Welcome, All That's Difficult!
